As the lead designer, I implemented an identity verification experience for new customers opening a consumer bank account. To verify their identity, applicants have the option to upload their identification card (or driver's license) and take a photo of their face. This experience is triggered by receiving a text message link on their phone to easily submit the photos required.

With this feature, Axos Bank aimed to speed up application submissions, reduce manual input of information required and verify identity. Based on feedback from launch, revisions were made and submission time showed improvements.‍
